PUERTO RICO AVIATION MAINTENANCE INSTITUTE

 

 

Our institute has the responsability to give the postsecondary students practical training and knowledge in the specialized skills of Aviation Maintenance, to become a Federal Aviation Administration Certified Airframe and/or Powerplant Mechanic. We are certified by FAA #DN 9T092R.

 

The Aviation Maintenance Technician course  was part of the curriculum Miguel Such Vocational School since 1952, currently located at Barbosa Avenue in Rio Piedras. In May 2009, this course is no longer part of the Miguel Such School to train Puerto Rico Aviation Maintenance Institute (PRAMI) in the facilities of the José Aponte de la Torre Airport in Ceiba.

 

 

 

 

 

The mission is to attain the integral professional and personal development of the students participating in the Aviation Maintenance Course. The integration of these students into the work force will provide them with an active participation within the Aviation Industry, which at the present time impels the economic development of our country, and will facilitate the improvement of their human condition, by helping them become useful and productive citizens.

 

 

 

 

 

Our vision is to provide our students with a unique and inspiring educational experience in the aviation maintenance field through an environment of teamwork, continuous learning and improvement. Is to provide an exemplary instruction that will encourage our students to strive for and achieve at the highest levels. This will produce well educated, trained, and qualified graduates to meet the universal technical needs and standards of the Aviation Maintenance Industry.

The website of the Puerto Rico Aviation Maintenance Institute was created as a special project under the free platform Wix.com , therefore , does not receive any financial contribution from the Department of Education. It is designed, administered and managed by Wendy Baez Ortega , Post-secondary Librarian . It does not belong to the Department of Education, or receive guidelines or instructions for administration . The School Libraries Program promotes the creation of a virtual environment, using those free applications on the Internet to spread activities, events and information for the benefit of the entire school .
